The works of this series can be read in three different ways. As contemporary symbols derived from Greek-Roman sculptures and references to the ancient canon.
Next the figures can be read as actualizations of myths. The figures’ internal structures are visible. The lines are not anatomical, but are there as visual references to the connection between the bodies senses and the bodies core.
Lastly, the figures are symbolic representations of the psychoanalysis theory of collective memory and that all cultures are built on a mythological structure of love, beauty, courage, etc…
The general thesis aims to highlight the unchanged panorama of human symbols and desires.
